Wait? I thought the show still needed to get their permission to air their songs? Especially since they're covering them? The RIAA is freaking out about Joe Nobody downloading the songs, but when the songs are actually altered they don't give a fuck?
LAME.
I don't think the RIAA has much jurisdiction in Australia. I don't know. Now that they're signed to Columbia, it's quite possible that they've signed away all rights to their songs, too- I don't know how those things work.
Holy freaking crap. I just got internet last night and this is the one of the first things I see using it...I am going to stare at the computer screen in a state of confusion until trivia tonight...
